Biography
Jared Schiffman has worked at the intersection of graphic design, computer science and education for the past decade. Jared studied with Prof. John Maeda at the MIT Media Lab, at first as an undergraduate, and then as a graduate student in the Aesthetics & Computation Group. Here, Jared focused his energy on making the task of programming more accessible by making the processes of computation visible. Jared's work has been shown at the Art Directors Club, the Museum of the Moving Image, and the Museum of Modern Art. Presently, Jared is a partner at Potion, a computational design and interactive installation firm.
