Biography
Dana Karwas is a media artist living and working in New York City. She specializes in experimental architecture, installation design, and programming. Her main interest lies in transforming and redefining social spaces through the intersection of art architecture and technology. She has taught classes on interactive architecture and new media at Harvestworks Digital Media Center, the Lemur Plex in Brooklyn and at Columbia Universitys Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation. Her recent work includes a public installation for Knoll International, Paris France. Her work has also been shown at the Museum of Television and Radio, the Chelsea Art Museum and the AIA New York Center for Architecture.
