After I finished ITP in '97, my first big step was proposing and launching a New Media course at Hunter College - now a comprehensive digital media program, both undergrad and grad. I freelanced for some major companies, including Sonicnet (now MTVi), Image Group, Tape House Interactive and Edwin Schlossberg. I then started Ladno Communications (http://www.ladno.com) in Moscow - doing branding and PR for western corporations in Russia. Back in NYC, I consulted for various IT and PR firms, worked as a TV anchor, and taught PR at Hunter College. I am currently VP of Corporate Communications at DataArt (http://www.dataart.com), and working on my first book of short stories.
