The Bent Festival is a three day event celebrating the art of modifying existing circuits (and creating new ones!) for the purpose of creating music, art, and mischief. There are performances from musicians who incorporate these circuits into their live act, art installations made from these circuits, and workshops showing you how to do it yourself. The festival is all about re-appropriating existing technologies - hacking apart old toys, building new ones from old parts - to create something fun and new and STRANGE.
ITP Adjunct Professor and alumnus Jamie Allen ('05) will be performing his piece "Circuit Music" on the opening night of this year's festival - Thursday, April 26th. http://heavyside.net/
