Biography

Richard Ting is VP & Executive Creative Director of R/GA's Mobile andEmerging Media/Applications (MEMA) Group. Richard's current focus is oncreating integrated interactive user experiences across the web, mobile,and physical space. In his nearly seven years with the Interpublic Groupagency, Richard has worked on key R/GA accounts such as Avaya, Nike,Nokia, Reuters, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless. During his time at R/GA, Richard has received almost every majorindustry award including the Cannes Titanium Lion, Cannes Cyber LionGrand Prix, the Grand Clio, the International ANDY Awards GRANDY and theD&AD Black Pencil. Richard is currently serving as a juror for the 2008International Clio awards, 2008 Webby Awards, and the 2008 Global MobileMarketing Association Awards. Additionally, Richard has spoken atnumerous conferences for organizations and associations, includingAdvertising Week, the One Club, and the Mobile Marketing Association, aswell as Nokia World in Amsterdam. While Richard was a graduate fellow at NYU's InteractiveTelecommunications Program, his project work concentrated on systemsdesign and mobile human computer interaction. His undergraduate work wasdone at Carnegie Mellon University, where he specialized in informationdecision systems and economics.
