Biography
Amit (b.1974) is an artist and researcher with an informal background in music, software design, and electronic engineering. He has recently exhibited and performed at the London Design Museum, Paris Pompidou Center, Sundance Film festival and ICC Museum in Tokyo. Amit has also launched a new studio to support his latest research and products in the field of Assistive-Technology and Universal Design. He is currently commissioned by the MacArthur foundation to write a chapter on his recent work on making toys and software more accessible to people with disabilities. Amit teachers various courses or art, design and accessibility at Cooper Union and New York University.
