H79.2694 Lecture 4 Credits
Instructor(s): Holoubek
Prototyping is a step in our process that educates us about what we are doing. It answers questions, makes a point, exposes weakness, and reveals something we may not have imagined. In this class the student explores three separate prototypes, each focusing on aspects of circuit design, fabrication and presentation. We will be developing tools and resources for prototyping beyond the breadboard, including circuit board design and re-purposing discarded electronics. The bulk of the class focuses on prototypes and the methods that make these prototypes effective in in the completion of a project. The final is a presentation of one prototype and its completed version.
