This studio format class is dedicated to a systematic and rigorous examination of one common assignment over the course of the semester. The class focus is on developing the student's visual and critical skills through the making and remaking of one piece of work. The goal is to produce a project, possibly limited in scope, that is completely resolved visually, critically and conceptually. Students develop their design process and learn from differing methodologies of other students. Guest critics and visiting designers are invited to class to show work and to critique student work.
Prerequisite: students with experience in design.
